Book Two · A Madrona Point Mystery

Booked Solid, Gone Missing

December on Hood Canal. The summer people are long gone — except for the gleaming diesel pusher booked solid by the marina office, paid up front, shades drawn. Her name is Vivian Hillstrom, and Tucker doesn't like her rig one bit. When a quiet person from Hollis Landing goes missing, the thread runs three counties wide and comes to rest at her front door.

About the author

Randall Friday

Randall Friday writes grounded, character-driven mysteries set in the Pacific Northwest, where he lives with his wife on the western edge of Washington state. He works for the state's ferry system and has spent his life around boats, docks, and travel trailers — wandering the West by RV and paying quiet attention to the small-town, small-marina, small-campground places most people drive past.

The Madrona Point Mystery series began with a question: what happens in the quiet hours of a working RV resort when something goes wrong? Full Hookup, Foul Play was the first answer. There will be more.

When he's not writing, he's outside — on the water, in the woods, or on the way to somewhere with hookups.

He publishes under Madrona Bluff Press, an independent Pacific Northwest imprint.
